 Anastasios Nyfadopoulos holds an MA in Fine Art from the University of Brighton, graduating with distinction. Ηe is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and has exhibited his work in Greece, Spain, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. Leading international publications, including the Associated Press, The Guardian, The New York Times, Público, and Xinhua, have written about his art. In 2015, at the age of 22, Anastasios Nyfadopoulos created “Crisis”, the first public sculpture addressing the Global Financial Crisis and its consequences on humanity. This groundbreaking artwork has inspired analysis and commentary from seventeen distinguished professors across five different universities, expanding its resonance across artistic, scholarly, and public discourse. In 2018, Nyfadopoulos won the Global Arts Award from Red Line Art Works, with artists from twenty-eight countries participating. 

     Anastasios focuses on humanity, how it is shaped, how it may change and evolve. With the healing process of collective trauma being the overarching theme in his work, he interconnects performance, poems and sculpture. His material research explores basalt fiber, carbon fiber, mycelium and plant-based resin.
